“Anni Venti”, Greco di Tufo DOCG Spumante Riserva, is back.
This year, in 2026, we celebrate an extraordinary anniversary for our winery and for the entire wine region of Campania: exactly one hundred years since a game-changing intuition, we are proud to present the return of Anni Venti, Greco di Tufo DOCG Spumante Riserva, 2020 Vintage.
A wine that encapsulates the deep essence of Irpinia’s identity and the visionary spirit that has always guided Cantine di Marzo.
1926: When Greco di Tufo Departed for Champagne
To truly appreciate the value of this sparkling wine, we must take a step back in time to 1926.
Picture the tracks of the historic Tufo railway: it was from here that train cars laden with our Greco departed on an incredible journey toward France: destination Champagne.
French producers, running short on wine due to the phylloxera crisis, had already recognized the extraordinary acidity and structure of our native grape variety—making it perfect for reinforcing their sparkling wine bases.
It was precisely from that trade, combined with a stroke of genius by the Irpinian winemaker Fiore Bottiglieri, that a revolutionary gamble was born: why send our wine across the Alps when we can craft it into a sparkling wine right here?
That brilliant intuition led to the creation of the very first Metodo Classico Greco di Tufo in Campania. A bold, pioneering choice that proved the immense potential and versatility of this unique grape variety.

Today, we celebrate that courage and a century of avant-garde winemaking with the 2020 Vintage of Anni Venti.
This is no ordinary sparkling wine; it is a wine crafted for those who know how to wait.
Here are the characteristics that make this Riserva a truly unique masterpiece:
48 months on the lees: Four years of slow aging in our historic cellars, where the wine gains complexity and an enveloping creaminess, without ever losing the signature freshness and sapidity of the Greco grape.
Extra Brut dosage: A precise stylistic choice. The palate is taut and focused, yet simultaneously creamy with extraordinary persistence.
Only 2,980 numbered bottles: An extremely limited production.
Each bottle is a unique piece of history, destined for those who wish to own a genuine sip of Irpinian heritage.
